Anthony "Civ" Civarelli is now the frontman of Civ. They were signed to Atlantic Records in 1994, and a lot of people came down on them as being sell-outs because of it, and if you believe that, then thats your prerogative. They have a new album out as of June 2nd. You can check the Atlantic Records website for tour dates, or keep coming back here, as I will eventually post them.
Arthur, who played bass for the Biscuits went in with Civ, and is currently working with them. CIV has recently released a new 7", called Social Climber, in addition to last years album Set Your Goals. If you are a fan of the Gorilla Biscuits, and haven't heard CIV, they are definitely worth checking out. So go out and buy their CD's and Seven Inches, and tell all those stupid HardCore Snobs to Fuck Off!
I really haven't kept up with Sammy much, apparently after the Gorilla Biscuits broke up, he became something of a freelance HardCore drummer. I heard that he had done some work with Shelter, and a few other bands, and I have been recently enlightened to the fact that Sammy is in Civ as well.
Walter, who played guitar and wrote most of the songs for the Gorilla Biscuits, went on to be the frontman in Quicksand. If you've never heard Quicksand before, it really sounds nothing like the Biscuits, it could best be described as post-hardcore, almost approaching Emo. Even though its nothing like Gorilla Biscuits, Quicksand is still one of my favorite bands, in addition to their E.P. on Revelation Records, they produced two full length albums, Slip and Manic Compression, before they broke up around 1995. Both of these albums are definitely worth getting. After Quicksand broke up, Walter started another band called Worlds Fastest Car, which apparently didn't work out, and is now getting back together with Quicksand. The only other thing that I am sure that Walter has done is to produce the CIV album, and help with some of the song writing.
